PinSaver is an independent website at pinsaver.download. It is not Pinterest and it is not affiliated with Pinterest, Inc. Contact: [email protected].
1. What this tool does
You paste a link to a public Pinterest Pin. Our server fetches that public page, lists the media on it, and streams the file you choose to your browser. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not connect to your Pinterest account.
2. Information you give us
The Pin URL you submit, which may include a pin.it short code. Messages you send through the contact form or the "report this Pin" box: your name, email, subject and the text you write. A Turnstile token, if human verification is switched on. We do not ask for a password.
3. Media files
Video, image and GIF files are fetched from Pinterest's public CDN when you request them and streamed to you. They are not written into a gallery, a user library or a long-term media store. Resolve results may be cached for about ten minutes, keyed by the numeric Pin id, so the same public Pin is not fetched on every repeat visit. That cache holds the list of file URLs, not a copy of the file you downloaded.
4. Logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP address, user agent and rough location as part of running the network. Our Worker logs record a request id, the path, the Pin id when a resolve succeeds or fails, the outcome, latency and the Cloudflare data-centre code. We do not write the full IP address into those application logs. Short-lived rate-limit keys, which can include an IP address, are kept only for the rate-limit window (minutes) or, if an address is flagged for a human check, for up to an hour. Contact messages are stored so we can reply, and then deleted once they are handled or after 90 days, whichever comes first.
5. Cookies, local storage and analytics
The colour theme is saved in local storage on your device. That is not sent to us. PinSaver does not set advertising cookies. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it is the cookieless beacon and does not use a tracking cookie. If a human-check widget (Cloudflare Turnstile) is shown, Cloudflare may set a cookie to complete that check. If advertising is added later, this policy will be updated first and a consent choice will be shown where the law requires one.
6. Why we process this
To run the download you asked for, to keep the service from being abused, to answer messages, and to honour copyright notices. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, that is our legitimate interest in operating a tool you chose to use, and our legitimate interest in securing it. Sending a contact message is also something you ask us to do. You can object to legitimate-interest processing, and we will stop unless we have a compelling reason to continue, such as a security log we are required to keep for a short time.
7. Sharing
We use Cloudflare to host the site, the API, short-term storage and, when enabled, Turnstile and Web Analytics. They process data on our instructions to provide that infrastructure. We do not sell personal information. We do not share your Pin history with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, for example a valid legal request.
8. International transfers
Cloudflare operates globally. If you are in the UK or the EEA, transfers to countries outside those regions rely on Cloudflare's contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Details are in Cloudflare's own privacy documentation.
9. Your rights in the UK and EEA
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, erase it, or restrict it, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can lodge a complaint with the ICO in the UK or your local authority. Email [email protected]. We may need to confirm it is you. Because most visits are not tied to an account, we often have nothing to show beyond a contact message sent from your email address.
10. California (CCPA / CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. California residents can ask us to know, delete or correct personal information we hold, and to appeal a refusal, by emailing [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for asking.
11. Children
PinSaver is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child sent us a message, email us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, the date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after that date means you have the new version to read. The previous text is replaced on this page.
