A clear stop
Board URLs are named for what they are, instead of failing quietly.
Boards are collections. PinSaver saves one public Pin at a time. Open a Pin from the board and paste that link.
PinSaver is not affiliated with Pinterest. By using it you accept our Terms · Privacy Policy.
The board address itself is not a download.
Go into the board, open a single public Pin, and copy its link.

A pinterest.com/pin/ or pin.it address is what the box accepts.

A Pinterest board is a list of Pins. People often copy the board address, which looks like pinterest.com/name/board-name, and expect every video on it to download. PinSaver does not do that. It will not walk a board, and it will not save Pins you did not open.
That limit is deliberate. A board can hold hundreds of other people's files. Fetching all of them would be a scraper, and this tool is not one. The useful path is shorter: open the Pin you want, copy its link, paste it here. The same box that runs the video, image and GIF tools then shows the real file.
If you paste the board URL, the form stops and explains that it is not a Pin. The checker on the home page does the same thing before you hit Download. Country domains and pin.it links still work once they point at one Pin. Private boards stay private even if you are logged into Pinterest in another tab. PinSaver never reads your account.
Use this page when you arrived with a board link and need the next step. Use the video, image, GIF, story or thumbnail page when you already know the file type. All of them share one paste box and the same rule: one public Pin.
Board URLs are named for what they are, instead of failing quietly.
Open one Pin on the board and copy that link.
Once you paste a Pin, you get the file Pinterest published.
Other people's boards are not downloaded as a folder.
Secret boards and hidden Pins are out of reach.
You do not connect Pinterest to check a link.
A straight comparison
Three ways people try to keep a Pin. Only the differences that are actually true.
| PinSaver | A screenshot | Another app | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you keep | The file that was published | A picture of the screen | Depends on that app |
| Sound on a video | Kept when the upload has it | Lost | Varies |
| Quality you can read | Width, height, and format before you save | Whatever your screen is | Often unlabeled |
| Account | None | You are already in Pinterest | Often required |
| A whole board | Not offered. Open one Pin. | One screen at a time | Some claim it. We do not. |
| Private Pins | Not available | Only if you can already open them | Usually the same limit |
A screenshot is a photo of the Pinterest screen. “Another app” means a typical installed downloader, not a review of one product.
If something fails
01
A board address has no /pin/ id. Open one Pin and copy that link.
02
pin.it addresses work when they point at one Pin. If one fails, open the Pin and copy the long URL.
03
After the download, use Safari’s Downloads icon, then Share, then Save Video or Save Image.
04
A logged-out window is the test. If the Pin does not open there, PinSaver cannot fetch it.
05
If the upload is small, the choices stay small. Nothing is upscaled and labeled 4K.
No board scraping and no profile downloads. You paste a link you can already open.
The page works in the browser. There is no extension and no Pinterest login.
Media is streamed for your download and is not stored as a library.

No. Open each Pin you want and paste that Pin's link. There is no board archive.
The address points at a collection, not a file. Copy the link from inside a single Pin.
No. PinSaver only sees what a logged-out visitor can open. It does not use your Pinterest session.
Paste one. When that download finishes, paste the next.
